We would like to welcome you to The Anglers Lodge.

We have a lot to offer you to better your fishing experience here at The Angler's Lodge. Even If you just want to get away and stay on the lake, you have come to the right place. We have a hotel with boat parking and hook-ups, a tackle shop with a huge variety of fishing supplies, including our own custom made baits, and a cafe that serves "The Best Burgers on the Lake!" from 11 AM to 8 PM. We are located about 3 miles from the nearest boat ramp, so you can grab some breakfast tacos starting at 5 AM and be on the water in minutes. Outside there is a pavilion where you can grill your own catch, eat, sit and relax. Need a boat stall? We have boat storage, as well.

We are Dianne and Carl Wengenroth, and we both own and operate The Angler's Lodge, Cafe, and Tackle shop. Whether you are over here for some fun in the sun or to catch fish to eat in the shade, we hope that you stay here and enjoy yourselves with us.

My husband Carl is not only a retired fireman and paramedic of Castroville, Texas, he enjoys hunting and is also an avid fisherman. I, myself, started working in the family business in Adamsville, Texas, when I was a little girl in my parents' store. Since then, I have always enjoyed working with people. Carl has always dreamed of having a fisherman's lodging place, so that is basically how we got into the business. We have put our hearts into our business. It is a family oriented, laid back establishment that caters to those of you who like to enjoy your days out on the lake with people who share similar interests, and to you professional fishermen, too. We have a lot to offer you to better your fishing experience here at The Angler's Lodge. Even if you just want to get away and stay on the lake, you have come to the right place.

Around here, we offer a relaxed environment. We hope that you will enjoy staying with us and our helpful staff that have all been trained to accommodate your needs, but we've put a spin on it and taught them to treat you like family. We hope that you will find yourselves feeling right at home while staying with us.

We are located on highway 90 W, about 5 miles out of Del Rio, Texas on  beautiful Lake Amistad, which is fed by the Rio Grande and Devil's rivers and many creeks. The lake covers about 67,000 acres. The fishing includes largemouth bass, small mouth bass, blue catfish, channel catfish, freshwater drum, white bass, striped bass, tilapia, Rio Grande perch, sunfish, Mexican Tetra, smallmouth buffalo, carp, shad and gar. When it comes to Big Bass, and lot's of them, anglers from around the world have made the journey to Lake Amistad for over 30 years. They have trusted The Angler's Lodge to provide them with a home away from home while they are here.

We, here at The Anglers Lodge, have one philosophy- we treat our fishermen and guests like family. We go above and beyond to ensure your trip to the Big Blue and Del Rio is as fun and easy as possible. Our full, on site tackle store is operated by local fisherman and has a full time guide on staff.
